Frequently Asked Questions
How do I pay for a ride?
Booking a seat reserves it immediately at no upfront cost. You pay the driver in cash when you board, and confirm the trip with your 4-digit check-in PIN. Mobile money payments through EcoCash and OneMoney are coming; until then Rwendo never holds your money.
What happens if a driver cancels the trip?
If a driver cancels, 100% of the passenger’s payment is automatically refunded back to their original EcoCash / OneMoney wallet immediately.
How does Rwendo verify drivers?
All drivers must submit their Zimbabwe National ID, valid Driver’s Licence (Class 2 or Class 4), and official Vehicle Fitness (VID) inspection documents before they are permitted to list empty seats.
Can I travel with luggage?
Yes. Each trip listing clearly indicates whether the driver can accommodate small, medium, or large luggage in the trunk.
